The monster does not copy my face
Tap Wake up under the monster. If nothing happens, the camera is probably not allowed: open Settings, find Monstro and turn Camera on. Face copying works on iPhone and iPad from 2018 on (A12 chip or newer). On older devices and on Android for now, the monster makes faces with emotion buttons instead.
Clips have no sound
Check that the microphone is allowed for Monstro in the device settings, and that “Record sound with clips” is on in the grown-up settings.
Where are the grown-up settings?
Tap the small lock on the home screen and answer the multiplication question. There you can change the language, sounds, vibration and the grown-up lock, and show the first-run hints again.
Can my child share without asking me?
By default, sharing and deleting a monster ask a grown-up question first. If you switch the grown-up lock off, they open straight away. The grown-up settings themselves always stay behind the question.
I deleted a monster by mistake
Tap “bring it back” in the few seconds after deleting. After that the monster is gone: there are no backups, because nothing leaves the device.
